Shoalhaven Heads River Entrance

Issue

The local residents of Shoalhaven Heads are concerned that the state of the River at the Heads will continue to deteriorate unless there is a change to the current entrance management plan. In response to this concern, Shoalhaven Council has established a Shoalhaven Heads Estuary Taskforce.  To provide local input into this Taskforce, a Shoalhaven Heads Estuary Focus Group (SHEFG) has been established.  This Group will look at various options to improve the health of the river at the Heads and lobby Council and the State Government to assist with examining these, and other options.
As Riverwatch shares the same concerns of the SHEFG, the Group has welcomed Riverwatch as a member.
