2020 Understanding Factors Limiting Oyster Reef Recovery in NSW

Researchers from Macquarie University are conducting large-scale research projects across NSW, assessing factors limiting re-establishment of ecologically important oyster reefs. Travel restrictions imposed during COVID-19 made it difficult for their team of Sydney-based researchers to do regular monitoring of field experiments, so Shoalhaven Riverwatch agreed to collect data from their three sites in the Shoalhaven River estuary. This work has now been completed.
